SendGrid is a popular communication platform that facilitates delivering transactional and marketing emails to the clients. It’s a cloud-based platform that provides real-time analytics and flexible APIs. SendGrid can integrate a lot of applications ranging from notifying clients of order deliveries, to providing information about shipment status, and reminding about appointments.
FlowGat allows the users to connect SendGrid with different applications or processes through an integrator for sending emails.
Adding a new connection in SendGrid
To add a new SendGrid account in FlowGat, click on add a new connection.
A pop-up window will open where you’ll have to fill details about account name and API key.
Send grid account name: It’s a distinct account name for easily identifying the SendGrid account in the connection list.
API key: Enter the API key from your account for authenticating access. If you do not have, you can create an API key.
Allow FlowGat to access your SendGrid account.
FlowGat will check the validation of the connection & if the connection is valid, it will be saved.
Creating a send grid API key
You can create an API key in the sendGrid account.
Log in to the SendGrid account. Navigate the settings on the left side and choose API keys.
Tap on “Create API key”.
Name the API key & set permissions
Enter the name of the API key and set permissions.
After you’re done with entering details, click on “create & view button”
Copy the API key
Make sure that you copy your API key at a secure place.
