Sometimes, you may encounter an error saying the record isn’t found. This error may occur due to different reasons. You can fix this problem by taking adequate steps:
Make sure that the connected app contains the record you want to update
If you get a “not found” error while updating a record that is present in another app, it may be due to non existence of the record. So you should ensure that the record you’re trying to update exists in the connected app.
For example, if you’re trying to update a customer in QuickBooks, you must make sure that the customer already exists in QuickBooks.
Use the right value and criteria
You must also ensure that you’re using the right value and criteria to find and update the record.
